Musa Okwonga is an author and the co-host of the Stadio football podcast. A lawyer by training, he left the profession to pursue a career as a writer. His first book, A Cultured Left Foot, was nominated for the 2008 William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award, and he has written for, among others, ESPN, The Economist and The New York Times.
This year he has released three books: In The End, It Was All About Love, an auto-fiction novel about love, politics, race and migration set in Germany and Uganda, One Of Them, a memoir about his time at English boarding-school Eton College, and Striking Out, a children’s novel co-written with and based upon the life of the broadcaster and former footballer Ian Wright. He lives in Berlin.
