KHADIJA YUSRA SANUSI

Khadija Yusra Sanusi published her first article in July 2014 as a first-year student at the African Leadership Academy with Mail and Guardian’s Voices of Africa in South Africa. Officially, she began her career in journalism in 2015 as a student at the American University of Paris, where she wrote over 20 articles for the student-led media: the Peacock Plume website and the Peacock Magazine. Passionate about Islam, women and culture, Khadija Yusra has written for several publications including Melan Magazine, MTVShuga, Document Women, NewsWire NGR, Isele Magazine and African Leadership Magazine and has served as a writer and sub-editor at Republic Journal. In addition to being a journalist, Khadija Yusra is a creative thinker, writer, poet, editor, and educator; she is currently a Leadership teacher and coach at Noble Hall Leadership Academy for Girls.
