DUNSI STROHSCHEIN

Dunsi Strohschein is a Nigerian-Canadian. She has a PhD in Public Health and is an Adjunct Professor of Public Health at the University of Alberta. She is passionate about working closely with individuals toward building healthy communities. She has over 20 years of experience working in diverse corporate and academic environments. Her research has earned her academic awards and invitations to present her work on the global stage. Drawing on her background in critical ethnography, her recent focus is bringing communities together through storytellling. She launched HourAfrica.com, an incipient social enterprise highlighting the experiences and accomplishments of Africans living abroad, whose stories otherwise are not easily accessible in the mainstream culture of their new localities.
