Ojoma Ochai is a respected thought leader and strategist in the creative economy space, with over 17 years of experience working on high-impact projects with renowned organisations like the British Council, World Bank (Growth and Employment Project), Swedish Arts Council, and various national governments.

As co-founder and Managing Partner of the Creative Economy Practice at CcHUB, Ojoma has led the organisation to become a prominent player in driving value creation and technology application in Africa's creative economies through its comprehensive suite of research, advocacy, ecosystem development, investment readiness, and investor advocacy / education programs supported by organisations including African Development Bank, Africa Export Import Bank and Africa No Filter [a donor collaborative founded in May 2020 by Ford Foundation, Bloomberg, Mellon Foundation, Luminate, Open Society Foundations, Comic Relief, the Conrad Hilton Foundation, and Hewlett Foundation]. The practice is also developing a portfolio of Createch Sector investee companies.

With a deep understanding of Creative Economy development policies and practices, Ojoma has strong sector knowledge and networks globally, particularly in Africa and the Caribbean. Her participation on the 42 Member UNESCO Global Expert Panel on the 2005 Convention on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (the key UN Convention on the global Cultural and Creative Industries), underscores her influence and expertise in global Creative Economy initiatives and policy.

Ojoma also sits on multiple boards, including the Africa Technology and Creative Group, a network of technology and creative sector organisations promoting intra-African trade, and ₿Trust, backed by tech and creative industry leaders Jack Dorsey and Jay Z to support Bitcoin Open Source development in the Global South.
