Kingsley Chiedu Moghalu is Professor of Practice in International Business and Public Policy at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, and the Founder of the Institute for Governance and Economic Transformation. He was Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria from 2009 to 2014, and led the implementation of far-reaching reforms in the Nigerian banking sector after the global financial crisis. Professor Moghalu previously worked for the United Nations for 17 years in legal affairs, strategic planning and executive management roles in New York, Cambodia, Croatia, Tanzania and Switzerland. He is the author of Emerging Africa: How the Global Economy’s ‘Last Frontier’ Can Prosper and Matter (Penguin Books, 2014). He is a frequent international keynote speaker at global forums, a frequent commentator on CNN Television, BBC World TV and his op-ed commentaries have appeared in the London Financial Times, USA Today and other newspapers.
