Brymo

Brymo grew up in the Lagos neighbourhood of Okokomaiko with his carpenter father and petty trader mother. Although, Brymo’s talent became apparent in secondary school, education was of utmost important to his parents and they were overjoyed when Brymo gained admission into the Lagos State University to study Zoology. Sadly, Brymo had to drop out soon afterwards due to financial difficulties, at which point Brymo devoted himself to his music career. After featuring on several tracks by other musicians, most notably ‘Oleku’ by Ice Prince, in September 2011, Brymo released the hit single "Ara", under the Chocolate City label. His follow up single, ‘Good Morning’ went on to top major charts across Africa and he was nominated twice for the “Song of The Year” award. Brymo released his second studio album TheSonOfaKapenta in 2013. A prolific and respected songwriter, Klitoris Brymo’s fifth studio album was released on the 9 May, 2016 to instant critical acclaim.
